Allows precision sharpening of endmills, reamers, shell mills and other cutters. The spindle is supported with a thin film of air providing nearly frictionless motion, resulting in a smooth, even grind. The fixture quickly mounts, with a universal base, to fit most tool & cutter or surface grinders. This fixture is also available for use on all Rush Drill & Tool Grinders (requires a different base).

Spiral Flute Grinding Fixture

The SGF-01 grinding fixture is designed for spiral flute grinding and/or OD grinding as geometry requires on roughing endmills, finishing endmills, tapered endmills (optional), shell mills, taps, drills, reamers, and other tools. The spiral angle adjusts by simply turning a dial - infinitely variable; right-hand or left-hand. This fixture will mount on the table of large tool & cutter grinders.
